10 Tips to not get Disqualified for Surveys

10 Tips to not get Disqualified for Surveys

I'm using Freecash for over a year and a half consistently now to fill surveys. I make about €50 per week on average. In the beginning though, I did get disqualified for a lot of surveys due to not giving the expected answers. After a while, I started getting the hang of thinking like the survey creator wants and I'd like to take some time to share my personal tips to get disqualified less.

  1. Spend some time on the first pages explaining the survey as a lot of surveys use the time spent on this page as a test to see whether you are attentive / a bot or not.
  2. As for demographics, don't enter a minor age. Also, not having kids is often a point of excluding for surveys so it's best to specify that you have kids. I personally pick young kids between 10 and 16 years old, as sometimes the kids are also asked to answer questions, and this will be for kids having these ages.
  3. Never say that you word in an ad-related sector or have filled similar surveys before. Also, I've noticed that selecting an "Other" company sector and entering a totally different one is often a good choice as they cannot put exclusion rules on that value as they can't predict it.
  4. Respect the expected completion time. I've noticed that some platforms really take this into account. If a survey is supposed to take 7 minutes, although you finish earlier, set your timer, and wait before submitting. It will save you the frustrations of fully completing a survey but not getting rewarded for no apparent reason.
  5. Of course, be aware of control questions like picking a color, selecting the one that doesn't belong in the list, selecting the animal/cake/vehicles from the images…
  6. Be consistent as contradicting yourself can lead to disqualification. For example, if you are born in 1991 and you are filling the survey in 2025, your age is 33. Age is often an easy way to check if you are giving honest answers. Some surveys even repeat the birth year / age question in the end of the survey, so remember what you have entered.
  7. Avoid straight-lining, so choosing the same answer repeatedly as it can be classified as bot behavior.
  8. In free text fields, always use a couple of valid words and punctuation. No gibberish as this can be detected!
  9. Don't use a VPN. Some platforms allow it but others like Bitlabs immediately disqualify you.
  10. Use a stable internet connection and don't refresh your browser mid-survey as it can lead to disqualification.

Final Thoughts

Follow these tips and you will notice a significant increase in the number of surveys you can get access to, complete & get rewarded for.
